URLAR's Heaven's Selection tier represents the very best four barrels from any given vintage, chosen through a blind, barrel-by-barrel tasting each new year. The 2014 was hand harvested and hand sorted from URLAR's certified organic, vegan-friendly vineyard in Gladstone, with 30% whole-cluster fermentation and extended time in French oak building real depth and power. Wines chosen for this small-batch range are left in barrel longer than the rest of the vintage to enhance harmony - the result is a rare, age-worthy expression of Wairarapa Pinot Noir.
