URLAR Sauvignon Blanc 2010

The 2010 vintage was warm and delivered a ripe full bodied sauvignon with zesty gooseberry, grapefruit, and lime flavours with a hint of passionfruit at that time. While it remains a distinctively New Zealand sauvignon blanc, the palate has now developed to be soft, full with good weight and length. Wonderful with fresh New Zealand seafood, especially those dishes using fresh herbs and butter.

URLAR Riesling 2010

In homage to its stony origins, this aromatic riesling has an underlying mineral thread throughout. Aromas include lime zest, ripe feijoa, honey and spice which combine beautifully with the soft mid palate texture and a long persistent finish. Made to age, the fresh acidity has mellowed for you to enjoy this wine now. Riesling is the perfect aperitif. It stands up well to lightly spiced tapas, Asian food and handles strong cheeses well.

URLAR Pinot Gris 2008

An opulent dry styled wine with aromas of sweet pear, honeysuckle and stonefruit overlaying a generous mouth feel of great weight and depth. The creamy texture on the palate from the lees stirring provides the backbone to a long and lingering finish. An elegant wine with a beautiful balance that has rewarded aging in our cellar. Great with pork dishes, especially slow roasted pork belly or lightly spiced Asian-inspired cuisine.
