This tasty, unconventional blend is defined by Pinot Gris, which makes up 54% of the wine with the balance being a fleshy 20% Viognier, 16% of creamy Chardonnay with 5% each of Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc, both of which add zesty zingy attitude to this first ever Mediator white. It’s organically certified with BioGro NZ and was also made from grapes grown along biodynamic guidelines. The cool climate of Gladstone in the central Wairarapa provides refreshing moderate acidity to the relatively low acid grapes of Pinot Gris and Viognier, which, along wit h Chardonnay, add weight and texture to the wine. This is a new wave blend with style and freshness to burn. A great year round drink thanks to its body and crisp style.

IWC 2021 – Bronze Medal

Attractive lime fruit aromas with balanced crispness and fruit on the palate.

Wine Orbit/Sam Kim
It’s elegantly expressed on the nose showing lemon peel, crunchy apple, flint and oatmeal nuances, leading to a finely focused palate that’s juicy and linear. It’s firmly structured by bright acidity, finishing long and mouth-watering. At its best: now to 2026.
