Led by chefs Rika and Midori of JANKEN in Auckland, this year’s dinner showcases bold Japanese-inspired cuisine featuring organic, vegan-friendly and gluten-conscious dishes.

Enjoy a curated menu paired with four URLAR wines. The dinner begins with a generous offering of entrees, including Organic Tahini Goma-Tofu and Karaage mushroom followed by Yuzu Ginger Poke Bowl. For the main course, choose between Chan-chan garlic miso salmon, Tataki-style beef, or Crispy Shojin tofu. Traditional Japanese desserts finish the evening.

URLAR Winegrower Kohei Koyama will guide guests through the pairings, sharing insight into the wines and their place on the table.

Guests are welcomed with a glass of bubbles on arrival, before moving upstairs to the Nishi Room for a relaxed night of thoughtful food and wine.

Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket privately. Please notify our Cellar Door team of any attendee changes.

Please include each guest’s Poke Bowl and Main selection in the Order Notes at checkout. If you need a little more time to confirm menu choices, or you’re booking for a larger group, you’re welcome to secure your tickets online and email tess@urlar.co.nz with the final selections afterwards.
